Sven, while not a brilliant scholar, was a gifted portrait artist. His fame grew and soon people from all over the country were coming to him for portrait paintings.
One day, a beautiful young woman pulled up to his house in a stretch limo. She asked Sven if he would paint her in the nude. This was the first time anyone had made this request.
The beautiful lady said money was no object; she was willing to pay $50,000.
Not wanting to get into trouble with his wife, Sven asked the lady to wait while he went in the house and conferred with Lena, his missus.
In a few minutes he returned and said to the lady, " Would be me pleasure ma'am. Missus says it's okay -- I'll paint ya in da nude, but I has ta' leave me socks on so I has a place to wipe me brushes ........."

그는 자기 아내와 분쟁을 일으키고 싶지 않았다, 스벤은 그 부인에게 기다리라고 말하고는 집 안으로 들어가 아내 레나와 상의하였다.
잠시 후 그는 되돌아와서 부인에게 말했다, "기꺼이 해 드리겠습니다, 부인, 아내가 그래도 좋다고 말하더군요. 제가 누드로 부인을 그리겠습니다, 하지만 제 붓들을 닦을 곳이 있어야 하니 제 양말은 그냥 신고 있어야겠습니다...."
