An old geezer, who had been a retired farmer for a long time became very bored and decided to open a medical clinic.
He put a sign up outside that said: "Get your treatment for $500 - if not cured get back $1,000."
Doctor "Young," who was positive that this old geezer didn't know beans about medicine, thought this would be a great opportunity to get $1,000.
He went to Dr. Geezer's clinic and this is what happened.
Dr. Young: "Dr. Geezer, I have lost all taste in my mouth. Can you please help me?"
Dr. Geezer: "Nurse, please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in Dr. Young's mouth."
Dr. Young: "Aaagh! This is Gasoline!"
Dr. Geezer: "Congratulations! You've got your taste back. That will be $500."
Dr. Young gets annoyed and goes back after a couple of days figuring to recover his money.
Dr Young: "I have lost my memory, I cannot remember anything."
Dr. Geezer: "Nurse, please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in the patient's mouth."
Doctor Young: "Oh no you don't, that's Gasoline!"
Dr. Geezer: "Congratulations! You've got your memory back. That will be $500."
Dr. Young (after having lost $1000) leaves angrily and comes back after several more days.
Dr. Young: "My eyesight has become weak I can hardly see!"
Dr. Geezer: "Well, I don't have any medicine for that so. Here's your $1000 back."
Dr. Young: "But this is only $500..."
Dr. Geezer: "Congratulations! You got your vision back! That will be $500."
은퇴하여 오랫동안 농부로 지내던 한 괴짜 늙은이가 아주 지쳐서 병원을 열기로 하였다.

닥터 영은 이 기저(괴짜 늙은이)는 의술에 관하여는 아무것도 모른다고 확신하고, 1,000달러를 버는 아주 좋은 기회라고 생각하였다.
그는 닥터 기저의 병원에 갔는데 이런 일이 벌어졌다.
닥터 영: "닥터 기저, 저는 입안에 있는 미각을 모두 상실하였습니다. 저를 도와주실 수 있습니까?"
닥터 기저: 간호사, 22번 박스에 든 약을 가져와서 닥터 영의 입에 3방울을 넣어요."
닥터 영: "아~! 이건 휘발유야!"
닥터 기저: "축하합니다! 당신은 미각이 되살아났습니다. 500달러 되겠습니다."
닥터 영은 화가 났다, 그러고 잃어버린 돈을 되찾을 생각으로 며칠 후 다시 찾아왔다.
닥터 영: "저는 기억력을 상실하였습니다, 아무것도 기억나지 않습니다."
닥터 기저: "간호사, 22번 박스에 있는 약을 가져와요, 그러고 환자의 입에 3방울을 넣어요."
닥터 영: "아, 안돼, 그러면 안 됩니다. 그건 휘발유잖아요!"
닥터 기저: "축하합니다! 당신 기억력이 되살아났습니다. 500달러 되겠습니다."
닥터 영은 (1,000달러를 잃은 후) 화를 내고 떠났다, 그러고 며칠 후 다시 돌아왔다.
닥터 영: "제 시력이 약해져서 거의 볼 수 없습니다!"
