Little Greggy came home from school, and his mother asked, "How was your day dear?"
He replied: " Pretty good Mom. I ate all my jam sandwiches for lunch, passed my spelling test, came first in the 100 metres sprint, was in the winning netball team, and got a fuck on the way home."
His mother was shocked and yelled at him," I won't have you talking filth like that! Its disgusting. Get to your room, you just wait till your father gets home."
So little Greggy went upstairs to his room.
When his father got home, Little Greggy's mother told him he had better go up and talk to his son. He went up to his room and said, " What sort of a day did you have at school son?"
Little Greggy said, "Pretty good Dad, I ate all my jam sandwiches for lunch, passed my spelling test, came first in the 100 metres sprint, was in the winning netball team, and got a fuck on the way home."
His father went downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed the cast iron frying pan from where it was hanging on the wall.
His mother was horrified. "What are you going to do with that? You're not going to hit him!" she cried.
The father said, "No! He can't do all that on jam sandwiches -- I'm going to cook him a steak and potatoes."

엄마가 놀라서 그에게 소리쳤다, "그런 더러운 말은 엄마가 듣고 싶지 않아! 구역질 나. 네 방에 가, 아빠가 집에 돌아오실 때까지 그냥 기다려."
그래서 리틀 그레기는 위층 자기 방으로 갔다.
아빠가 집으로 돌아오자, 리틀 그레기의 엄마가 아빠에게 올라가서 아들과 이야기 보는 게 좋겠다고 말했다. 아빠가 아들 방으로 올라가서 말했다, "학교에서 무슨 일이 있었니, 아들아?"

아빠는 아래층으로 내려가 부엌으로 들어갔다 그리고 벽에 걸려있던 주철 프라이팬을 잡았다.
엄마가 놀랐다, "당신 그걸로 뭘 하려는 거야? 당신 아이를 때릴 거야!" 하고 엄마가 비명을 질렀다.
아빠가 말했다, "아니야! 그놈이 잼 샌드위치를 먹고는 그런 걸 다 할 수는 없잖아 -- 내가 그놈에게 스테이크와 감자 요리를 해줘야겠어."
