Two old men, John and David, met at a park.
John said, "Hey, where have you been all these years?"
David replied, "I was in jail."
"What? What did you do?" asked John.
David said, "Well, I was standing at the marketplace when this pretty young thing appeared with a policeman, pointed to me and said, 'That's the guy, Officer. He's the one who raped me.'"
"What? And you let her accuse you like that?" exclaimed John.
"Well, you know I felt so flattered, I had to admit to it," replied David.
두 노인, 존과 데이비드가 공원에서 만났다.
존이 말했다, "이봐, 너 요 몇 년간 어디 있다 온 거야?"
데이비드가 말했다, "나 교도소에 있었어."
"뭐라? 너 뭘 저질렀어?" 하고 존이 물었다.
데이비드가 말했다, "음, 내가 시장에 서 있었는데 그때 이 아름답고 젊은 여자가 경찰관을 대동하고 나타나서 나를 지목하고, '저 사람이 그 남자입니다, 경찰관님. 그 사람이 나를 강간했습니다.' 라고 말한 거야."
"뭐? 그럼 네가 그 여자가 널 그렇게 고소하도록 놔둔 거야?" 하고 존이 소리쳤다.
"응, 그러니까 내가 우쭐한 기분이 들어서, 그렇다고 인정해버렸지," 하고 데이비드가 대답했다.
