A little dwarf lady goes into her doctor's office complaining of an irritated crotch.
After an examination, the doctor sighs, "I don't seem to see any problem. Does it get better or worse at any time?"
"Yeah, it's really bad whenever it rains," she replies.
"Well, then," says the Doc, "Next time it rains, get in here at once, and we'll take another look at it."
Two weeks later, it's raining really hard, and the little lady shows up at the doctor's office.
"Doctor, it's really bad today. Please, you have to help me!!"
"Well, let's have a look," he says, as he lifts her up onto the table.
"Oh, yes, I think I see the problem. Nurse, bring me a surgical kit. Don't worry ma'am, this won't hurt a bit."
The dwarf lady closes her eyes in painful anticipation.
The doctor begins snipping away and finishes a few minutes later.
"There you go, ma'am, try that."
She walks back and forth around the office and exclaims, "That's great, Doc, what did you do?"
"I just took a couple of inches off the top of your rain boots."
한 키작은 난쟁이 여자가 병원을 찾아와서 사타구니가 따끔거린다고 호소했다.
검사후 의사는 한숨을 쉬며 말했다. "아무 이상이 없는것 같은데요, 어떤 때는 좋아졌다가 어떤 때는 나빠졌다가 하나요?"
그녀가 대답했다, "예, 비가 올때는 정말 심해집니다."
의사가 말했다, "그럼 다음 비가 올때 즉시 찾아 오시면 한번 더 검사를 해보겠습니다."
이주일뒤 비가 심하게 올때 그 난쟁이 여자가 병원에 나타났다.
"의사선생님, 오늘은 진짜 심합니다. 제발 도와주세요!"
의사는 "예, 한번 봅시다"라고 말하더니 그녀를 진료대 위로 들어 올렸다.
"아, 예, 이유를 알겠네요. 간호사, 수술도구 가져와요. 부인, 걱정하지 마세요, 이건 조금도 아프지 않습니다."
난쟁이 부인은 고통을 예상하고 눈을 감았다.
의사가 가위질을 하더니 잠시뒤 끝냈다.
"자 다 되었습니다, 부인, 걸어보세요."
그녀는 병원안을 이리저리 걸어보더니 소리쳤다, "아주 좋습니다. 선생님, 어떻게 하셨어요?"
"부인의 장화 끝을 몇인치 잘라냈을 뿐입니다."
