It was the day before my eighteenth birthday. I was living at home, but my parents had gone out for the evening, so I invited my girlfriend over for a romantic night alone.
As we lay in bed after making love, we heard the telephone ring downstairs.
I suggested to my girlfriend that I give her a nude piggyback ride to the phone.
Since we didn't want to miss the call, we didn't have time to get dressed.
When we got to the bottom of the stairs, the lights suddenly came on and a whole crowd of people yelled, "SURPRISE!"
My entire family: aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and all my friends Were standing there.
My girlfriend and I were frozen embarrassment for What seemed like an eternity.
Since then, no one in my family has planned a surprise party again.
나의 18번째 생일 전날이었다. 나는 부모님과 함께 살고 있었지만 부모님은 저녁에 안계셨다. 그래서 나는 여자친구를 초청하여 두사람 홀로 로맨틱한 밤을 보냈다.
우리가 사랑을 나누고 침대에 누워있을때 아래층에서 전화벨이 울리는 소리가 들렸다.
나는 여자친구에게 옷 벗은채로 내 등에 업히라고 말하고 전화를 받으러 갔다.
우리들은 그 전화가 끊기기를 원하지 않았기 때문에 옷 입을 겨를이 없었다.
우리가 층계를 다 내려갔을때 갑자기 불이 들어오면서 많은 사람들이 외쳤다, "서프라이즈!"
나의 온 가족들: 숙모들, 삼촌들, 조부모, 사촌들 그리고 나의 친구들이 거기 서 있었다.
나의 여자친구와 나는 영겁이 흐른 것 같은 오랜 시간동안 창피해서 얼어붙었다.
그 이후로 나의 가족중 어느 누구도 다시는 스프라이즈 파티를 계획하지 않았다.
