A blonde guy was visiting Washington, DC for the first time.
He wanted to see the Capitol building. Unfortunately, he couldn't find it, so he asked a police officer for directions, "Excuse me, officer, how do I get to the Capitol building?"
The officer replied, "Wait here at this bus stop for the number 54 bus. It'll take you right there."
He thanked the officer and the officer drove off.
Three hours later the police officer returned to the same area and, sure enough, our blonde fellow is still waiting at the same bus stop.
The officer got out of his car and said, "Excuse me, but to get to the Capitol building, I said to wait here for the number 54 bus. That was three hours ago. Why are you still waiting?"
The blonde replied, "Don't worry, officer, it won't be long now. The 47th bus just went by!"
어느 블론드 남자가 처음으로 워싱턴 디시를 방문하고 있었다.
그는 국회의사당 건물을 보고 싶었다. 불행히도 그는 그 건물을 찾을 수가 없어서 경찰관에게 거기로 가는 방향을 물었다, "죄송하지만, 경찰관님, 의사당 건물로 가려면 어떻게 가야 합니까?"
경찰관이 대답했다, "이 버스 정류장에서 54번 버스를 기다리세요. 그걸 타면 거기로 바로 갑니다."
그는 경찰관에게 고맙다고 인사했고 경찰관은 차를 몰고 가버렸다.
세 시간뒤 그 경찰관이 바로 그 지역으로 돌아와보니, 틀림없는, 그 블론드 친구가 아직도 그 버스 정류장에서 기다리고 있었다.
경찰관이 차에서 내려 말했다, "미안하지만 의사당 건물로 가려면 여기서 54번 버스를 기다리라고 말했잖아요. 세시간이나 지났는데 왜 아직도 기다리고 있습니까?"
그 블론드가 대답했다, "걱정하지 마세요, 경찰관님, 이제 얼마 남지 않았습니다. 47번째 버스가 방금 지나갔습니다!"
