The cruise ship docked at a Mexican port during a very high tide.
Everyone on board was forced to use the ship's narrow gangplank as a passageway to the dock far below.
The staff stood motionless when a passenger in her 70s appeared at the top of the plank.
There wasn't room for anyone to assist her, so she edged along slowly and finally made it to the dock safely, to everyone's relief.
As she stepped down, she turned, looked back at the top of the plank and shouted, "It's okay, Mother, you can come down now."

배에 타고 있던 사람들은 모두 저 먼 아래쪽에 있는 선창으로 내려가는 통로로 좁은 이동식 다리를 사용할 수밖에 없었다.
70대로 보이는 한 여자 승객이 그 다리 위에 나타났을 때 선원은 가만히 서 있었다.
어느 누구에게도 그녀를 도와줄 공간이 없었다. 그래서 그녀는 한 발 한 발 아주 천천히 내려가서 드디어 선창에 안전하게 도착하여 모두 안도하였다.
그녀는 선창에 내려와서는 돌아서서 그 다리 꼭대기를 도로 쳐다보고 소리쳤다, "됐습니다, 어머니, 이제 어머니가 내려오셔도 됩니다."
