A woman named Shirley was from Beverly Hills. One day, she had a heart attack and was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital. While on the operating table, she had a near-death experience. She saw God and asked, “Is this it?”
God said, “No, you have another 30 to 40 years to live.”
Upon her recovery, she decided to stay in the hospital and have collagen shots, cheek implants, a facelift, liposuction and breast augmentation. She even had someone dye her hair.
She figured since she had another 30 to 40 years, she might as well make the most of it.
She walked out of Cedars Sinai lobby after the last operation and was killed by an ambulance speeding up to the hospital. She arrived in front of God and said, “I thought you said I had another 30 to 40 years?”
God replied, “Shirley! I didn’t recognize you!”

그녀는 30~40년을 더 살게 되었으니 그 기간을 최대한 활용하여야 겠다고 생각하였다.
그녀는 마지막 수술을 받고 시더스 시나이 병원 로비 밖으로 걸어나오다가 병원으로 과속하여 달려오던 앰뷸런스에 치어 죽었다. 그녀는 하느님 앞에 도착하여 말했다, "하느님께서는 제가 30~40년을 더 살거라고 말씀하셨잖아요?"
하느님이 대답하셨다, "셜리! 나는 넌지 몰라봤어!"
