An airplane crashed while carrying four religious leaders headed for a national convention. Feeling this was a great human interest story to see how "men of the cloth" reacted to mortal danger, a reporter rushed to the scene.
The reporter noticed the first man was wearing the traditional Jewish head covering. "I see you are a Rabbi," he said. "Were you afraid when the plane crashed?"
"No," replied the Rabbi. "I trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."
From his collar, the reporter knew the second was Catholic. "Were you scared, Father?" he asked.
"No, my son," the Priest said, I prayed to the Virgin Mary.
The third man was in a business suit, so the reporter asked which faith he represented and if he had been scared.
"I am a Baptist Minister and I was unafraid. I trust in the Lord."
The fourth's garments looked a little bit like the Catholic's but not quite, so the reporter asked what religion he represented.
"I'm Ecopalian!" announced the reverend.
"I've never heard of that religion. Tell me about that," responded the reporter with a tone of genuine interest.
The reverend said, "Well, that's an Episcopalian with the "piss" scared out of him!"

기자는 첫 번째 남자가 전통적인 유태교도 모자를 쓰고 있는 걸 보았다. "랍비이시군요," 하고 기자가 말했다, "비행기가 추락할 때 두려웠습니까?"
"아뇨," 하고 랍비가 대답하였다. "난 아브라함, 이삭, 야콥의 하느님을 믿습니다."
기자는 칼라로 보아 두 번째 성직자가 가톨릭교도인 걸 알았다. "두려웠나요, 신부님?" 하고 그가 물었다.
"아뇨, 젊은이," 하고 그 신부가 말했다, 나는 성모 마리에게 기도를 드렸습니다.
세 번째 남자는 비즈니스 복장을 하고 있었다, 그래서 기자가 그에게 무슨 종교를 믿는지 그리고 두려웠는지 물었다.
"난 침례교 목사이고 두렵지 않았습니다. 나는 하느님을 믿습니다."
네 번째 남자의 복장은 약간 가톨릭 같기도 하였으나 확신은 가지 않았다, 그래서 기자는 그가 무슨 종교를 믿느냐고 물었다.
"난 에코팰리언입니다!" 하고 그 성직자가 말했다.
"저는 그런 종교를 들은 적이 없습니다. 그 종교를 설명해 주세요." 하고 기자는 정말 흥미 있다는 어조로 말하였다.
그 성직자가 말했다, "음, 그건 Episcopalian(영국 성공회 교도)인데 놀라서 "piss(오줌)"가 빠져나간 사람이죠!"
