아메리칸 조크 - 차 조수석 밑에 있던 아내의 구두

One evening after work, a man drove his secretary home after she had a little too much to drink at a party. Although nothing happened, he decided not to mention it to his wife. Later that night, the man and his wife were driving to a movie when he spotted a high-heeled shoe hidden under the passenger seat. Pointing to something out the passenger window to distract his wife, he picked up the shoe and tossed it out of his window. They arrived at the theater a short time later and were about to get out of the car when his wife asked, "Honey, have you seen my other shoe?" 퇴근 후의 어느 날 저녁, 한 남자가 그의 여비서가 파티에서 술을 좀 많이 마셨기에 그녀를 차에 태워 집으로 데려다주었다. 아무 일도 없었지만, 그는 그의 아내에게는 말하지 않기로 하였다. 그날 밤, 그와 그의 아내가 차를 몰고 극장으로 가고 있었는데 그때 그는 조수석 의자 밑에 하이힐이 숨겨져 있는 걸 보았다. 그는 아내의 주의를 돌리기 위하여 조수석 밖의 뭔가를 가리키면서 그 구두를 집어 들고 운전석 창문 밖으로 던졌다. 잠시 후 그들은 극장에 도착하여 차에서 내리려고 하였는데 그때 아내가 물었다, "여보, 내 구두 한 짝 안 봤어?"
