This man in a Ford Granada pulls up next to a guy in a Rolls Royce at a stop sign.
Their windows are open and he yells at the guy in the Rolls:
"Hey, you got a telephone in there?"
The guy in the Rolls says, "Yes, of course I do."
"I got one too... see?"
"Uh, huh, yes, that's very nice."
Then the man in the Granada says, "You got a fax machine?"
"Why, actually, yes, I do."
"I do too! See? It's right here!"
"Uh-huh."
The light is just about to turn green and the guy in the Granada says, "So, do YOU have a double bed in back there?"
And the guy in the Rolls says, "NO! Do you?"
"Yep, got my double bed right in back here ? see?!"
The light turns and the man in the Granada takes off. Well, the guy in the Rolls is not about to be one-upped, so he goes immediately to a customizing shop and orders them to put a double bed in back of his car.
About two weeks later, the job is finally done and he picks up his car and drives all over town looking for the Granada.
He finally finds it parked alongside the road so he pulls his Rolls up next to it.
The windows on the Granada are all fogged up and he feels a little awkward about it, but he gets out of his newly modified Rolls and taps on the foggy window of the Granada.
The man in the Granada finally opens the window a crack and peeks out.
The guy in the Rolls says, "Hey. Remember me?"
"Yeah, yeah, I remember you. What's up?"
"Check this out ? I got a double bed installed in my Rolls."
And the man in the Granada says, "YOU GOT ME OUT OF THE SHOWER TO TELL ME THAT?!"
포드 그라나다를 타고 있는 남자가 신호등에서 롤스 로이스를 타고있는 남자 옆에 차를 세웠다.
그들의 창문은 열려 있었다. 그라나다를 타고 있는 남자가 롤스를 타고 있는 남자에게 소리쳤다: "이봐요, 당신차에 전화 있어요?"
롤스를 타고 있는 남자가 말했다. "물론이죠."
"나도 있어요...보여요?"
"아, 그렇군요, 아주 좋은데요."
그때 그라나다를 타고 있는 남자가 말했다, "당신 팩스 있어요?"
"그럼요, 당연히 있지요."
"나도 있어요! 보여요? 바로 여기!"
"아-하."
신호등이 파란불로 바뀌려 하고 있었는데 그라나다를 타고 있는 남자가 말했다, "그런데, 당신 차 뒤쪽에 다블베드가 있나요?"
롤스를 타고 있는 남자가 말했다, "아뇨, 당신은 있어요?"
"그럼요, 난 바로 여기 뒤쪽에 다블베드가 있어요---보여요?"
신호등이 바뀌고 그라나다를 타고 있는 사람은 출발했다.
그런데, 롤스를 타고 있는 사람은 뒤처지고 싶지 않았다.
그래서 그는 즉시 고객 맞춤 센터에 가서 자기 차 뒤에 다블베드를 설치해 달라고 주문했다.
2주일 뒤, 드디어 작업이 다 끝나서 그는 차를 찾아 그 그라나다를 찾아 온 동네를 운전하고 다녔다.
그는 드디어 길가에 주차하고 있던 그 차를 발견하고 자기의 롤스를 그 차 옆에 주차시켰다.
그라나다의 창문은 모두 김이 서려 있었다. 그는 그걸 이상하게 생각하였지만 새로 수리한 자기차에서 내려 그라나다의 안개낀 창문을 두드렸다.
그라나다를 타고 있는 남자가 드디어 창문을 조금 열고 밖을 엿보았다.
롤스를 타고 있던 남자가 말했다, "이봐요. 절 기억하세요?"
"예, 예, 기억나네요, 무슨 일이요?"
"이차 보세요 - 롤스 안에 다블베드를 설치했어요."
그러자 그라나다를 타고 있던 남자가 말했다.
"당신, 그거 말하려고 샤워하고 있는 날 불러내?"
