A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question.
The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimetres from a shop window.
For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!"
The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much."
The driver replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver. I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years."
택시 승객이 운전사에게 물어볼게 있어서 운전사의 어깨를 살짝 쳤다.
운전사는 비명을 지르며 자동차를 제어하지 못해 버스를 충돌할뻔 하다가 인도위로 뛰어 올랐다, 그리고 상점 윈도우를 몇 센티미터 앞두고 멈췄다.
잠시동안 택시 안이 조용했다, 그러다가 운전사가 말했다, "이봐요, 다시는 그런 짓 하지 마세요, 당신 때문에 얼마나 놀랐는지 혼이 다 빠져나갔어요!"
승객이 사과하며 말했다, "전 살짝 쳤는데, 그렇게 놀라게 할 줄은 몰랐어요."
운전사가 대답했다, "미안합니다, 그건 당신 잘못이 아닙니다. 오늘이 제가 택시를 처음 운전하는 날입니다. 저는 지금까지 25년동안을 장의차 운전을 해 왔거든요"
