A salesman's car breaks down, so he asks a farmer to let him spend the night, and the farmer agrees.
In the middle of the night, the salesman wakes up and is really thirsty, so he decides to go to the barn and get some milk from a cow.
Soon, the farmer hears noises coming from the barn and goes to investigate.
He then sees the salesman coming out of the barn soaking wet and with a white liquid dripping down his face.
The farmer asks, "What happened to you?"
The salesman says, "I just got thirsty, so I milked your cow. It was so dark in there I don't know how I did it. But I'm telling you, that cow has great milk! I must have drank a gallon of it!"
The farmer then stares at him with a puzzled look and says, "But we don't have a cow. We just have a bull."
어느 세일즈맨이 운전하던 자동차가 고장났다, 그래서 그는 한 농부에게 그날밤을 묵고 가게 해 달라고 부탁하였고 농부는 허락했다.
한밤중에 세일즈맨은 잠을 깨었는데 목이 몹시 말랐다, 그래서 그는 헛간으로 가서 암소의 젖을 마시기로 하였다.
곧, 농부가 헛간에서 들려오는 소리를 듣고 조사하러 갔다.
그때 그는 그 세일즈맨이 헛간에서 나오고 있는 걸 보았는데 세일즈맨은 흠뻑 젖은 채 얼굴에서는 흰 액체가 뚝뚝 떨어지고 있었다.
농부가 물었다, "무슨 일입니까?"
세일즈맨이 말했다, "제가 목이 말라서 당신의 암소 젖을 마셨습니다. 그쪽은 너무 어두워서 제가 어떻게 하였는지 모르겠습니다. 하지만 말이예요, 그 암소 젖 정말 맛있었습니다! 한 갈론은 마셨을 겁니다!"
그러자 농부가 어리둥절한 모습으로 그를 빤히 쳐다보고 말했다, "하지만 우린 암소는 없고, 황소만 한 마리 있습니다."
