A lady goes to her parish priest one day and tells him, “Father, I have a problem. I have two female parrots but they only know how to say one thing.”
“What do they say?” the priest inquired.
“They say, ‘Hi, we’re prostitutes. Do you want to have some fun?”
“That’s obscene!” the priest exclaimed, “I can see why you are embarrassed.”
He thought a minute and then said, “You know, I may have a solution to this problem. I have two male parrots whom I have taught to pray and read the Bible. Bring your two parrots over to my house and we will put them in the cage with Francis and Job. My parrots can teach your parrots to praise and worship. I’m sure your parrots will stop saying that…that phrase in no time.”
“Thank you,” the woman responded, “this may very well be the solution."
The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest’s house.
As he ushered her in, she saw this two male parrots were inside their cage, hold their rosary beads and praying. Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them.
After just a couple of seconds, the female parrots exclaimed out in unison, “Hi, we’re prostitutes. Do you want to have somefun?”
There was a stunned silence. Finally, one male parrot lookedover at the other male parrot and said, “Put the beads away,Francis, our prayers have been answered!”

"이봐, 우리들은 매춘부야, 재미보고 싶지 않아? 라고 말합니다."
"그참 저질이네! 당신이 왜 쑥스러워 하는지 알겠군요," 하고 신부가 소리쳤다.
신부가 잠간 생각하더니 말했다, "이 문제를 해결할 수 있을것 같군요, 나는 숫놈 앵무새 2마리를 갖고 있는데 난 그들에게 기도하기와 성경읽기를 가르쳐왔습니다. 당신 앵무새 2마리를 우리집으로 데려와서 우리집 앵무새 프란시스 와 잡과 같은 새장에 넣어 봅시다. 내 앵무새가 당신 앵무새들에게 찬양 예배를 가르쳐줄 겁니다. 틀림없이 당신 앵무새들은 곧 그따위 말을 멈출겁니다."
"감사합니다." 하고 여자는 신부님에게 감사드렸다. "그렇게 하면 잘 해결될것 같군요"
다음날, 그녀는 암놈 앵무새 2마리를 신부님 집으로 데려왔다.
신부님은 그녀를 안으로 안내했다. 그녀는 숫놈 앵무새 2마리가 새장안에서 묵주를 잡고 기도하고 있는 것을 보았다.
감동한 그녀는 그녀의 앵무새들을 그 새장안으로 들여보냈다.
잠시후 암놈 앵무새들이 이구동성으로 외쳤다, "우리는 매춘부야, 재미보고 싶지 않아?" 서먹한 정적이 흘렀다. 드디어 숫놈 앵무새 한마리가 다른 숫놈 앵무새를 건너보며 말했다, "그 묵주 치워, 프란시스, 우리 기도가 통한거야!"
