There was a preacher who fell in the ocean and he couldn't swim.
When a boat came by, the captain yelled, "Do you need help, sir?"
The preacher calmly said, "No, God will save me."
A little later, another boat came by and a fisherman asked, "Hey, do you need help?"
The preacher replied again, "No God will save me."
Eventually the preacher drowned and went to heaven.
The preacher asked God, "Why didn't you save me?"
God replied, "Fool, I sent you two boats!"
바다에 빠졌으나 헤엄을 칠 수 없는 어느 전도사가 있었다.
배 한 척이 지나갈 때, 선장이 소리쳤다, "도와드릴까요, 선생님?"
전도사가 조용히 말했다, "아뇨, 하느님이 절 도와주실 겁니다."
조금 후, 또 한 척의 배가 지나갔는데 어부가 물었다, "보세요, 도와드릴까요?"
전도사가 다시 대답하였다, "괜찮습니다, 하느님이 절 도와주실 겁니다."
결국 전도사는 빠져 죽어 천국에 갔다.
전도사가 하느님에게 물었다, "왜 저를 구해주시지 않으셨습니까?"
하느님이 대답하였다, "바보야, 내가 너에게 배를 두 척이나 보냈어!"
