A lady is walking down the street to work and she sees a parrot in a pet store.
The parrot says to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly."
Well, the lady is furious! And she storms past the store to her work.
On the way home she saw the same parrot in the window and the parrot said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly."
Well, she was incredibly ticked now.
The next day she saw the same parrot and the parrot said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly."
The lady was so ticked that she went into the store and said that she would sue the store and kill the bird.
The store manager said, "That's not good." and promised he wouldn't say it again.
When the lady walked past the store after work the parrot said to her, "Hey lady."
She paused and said, "Yes?" and the bird said, "You know."
어떤 여자가 일하러 가기 위하여 길을 걷고 있었는데 그녀는 애완동물 상점에서 앵무새 한 마리를 보았다.
그 앵무새가 그녀에게 말했다, "어이, 아가씨, 당신 참 못생겼어."
이런, 그 여자는 몹시 화가 났다! 그리고 그녀는 그 상점을 급히 지나쳐 직장으로 갔다.
집으로 가는 길이 그녀는 창에서 바로 그 앵무새를 보았다, 그리고 그 앵무새가 그녀에게 말했다, "어이, 아가씨 당신 참 못생겼어."
이런, 이제 그녀는 엄청나게 화가 났다.
다음 날 그녀는 바로 같은 앵무새를 보았고 그 앵무새가 그녀에게 말했다, "어이, 아가씨, 당신 참 못생겼어."
그 여자는 너무 화가 나서 상점으로 뛰어들어가서 상점을 상대로 소송을 걸고 그 새를 죽여버리겠다고 말했다.
상점 매니저가 말했다, "그럼 안 되는데," 하면서 다시는 그런 말을 하지 않을 거라고 약속하였다.
그녀가 일을 끝내고 그 상점을 지나 걷고 있을 때 그 앵무새가 그녀에게 말했다, "어이, 아가씨."
그녀가 걸음을 멈추고 말했다, "왜?" 그러고 그 새가 말했다, "당신 알잖아."
