A husband in his back yard is trying to fly a kite. He throws the kite up in the air, the wind catches it for a few seconds; then it comes crashing back down.
He tries this a few more times with no success.
All the while his wife is watching from the kitchen window, muttering to herself how men need to be told how to do everything. She opens the window and yells to her husband, "You need more tail."
The man turns with a confused look on his face and says, "Make up your mind. Last night, you told me to go fly a kite."
어떤 남편이 자기 집 뒤뜰에서 연을 날리려고 애쓰고 있었다. 그는 연을 공중으로 던지고 바람이 잠시 연을 띄웠다, 그리곤 아래로 도로 내리꽂혔다.
그는 몇 차례 더 시도하였으나 실패하였다.
그동안 내내 그의 아내가 부엌 창문을 통하여 지켜보다가, 남자들이란 일일이 어떻게 하라고 알려줘야 한다니 하며 혼자 중얼거렸다. 그녀는 창문을 열고 남편에게 소리쳤다, "꼬리를 더 달아요."
남편이 어리둥절한 표정으로 말했다, "당신 마음을 결정해, 어젯밤엔 나보고 연 날리러 가라고 말했잖아."
