A woman was thinking about finding a pet to help keep her company at home.
She decided she would like to find a beautiful parrot. It wouldn't be as much work as a dog, and it would be fun to hear it speak.
She went to a pet shop and immediately spotted a large beautiful parrot.
She went to the owner of the store and asked how much the bird cost.
The owner said it was $50.
Delighted that such a rare looking and beautiful bird wasn't more expensive, she agreed to buy it.
The owner looked at her and said, "Look, I should tell you first that this bird used to live in a whorehouse and sometimes it says some pretty vulgar stuff."
The woman thought about this, but decided she had to have the bird.
She told the owner that she still wanted the bird. The pet shop owner sold her the bird and she took it home.
She hung the bird's cage up in her living room and waited for it to say something.
The bird looked around the room, then at her, and said, "New house, new madam."
The woman was a bit shocked at the implication, but then thought "that's not so bad,"
A couple hours later, the woman's two teenage daughters returned from school.
When they inspected the bird, it looked at them and said, "New house, new madam, new whores."
The girls and the woman were a bit offended at first, but then began to laugh about the situation.
A couple of hours later, the woman's husband, came home from work.
The bird looked at him and said, "New house, new madam, new whores....same old faces. Hi Ray."
어떤 여인이 집에서 친구로 지낼 애완동물을 찾아보기로 했다.
그녀는 아름다운 앵무새를 찾아보기로 했다. 앵무새는 개 키우는 만큼 힘들지는 않을 거고 앵무새가 말하는 걸 들으면 재미있을 것 같았다.
그녀는 애완동물 가게로 갔다. 즉시 크고 예쁜 앵무새 한마리가 눈에 띄었다.
그녀는 가게 주인에게 가서 가격이 얼마냐고 물었다.
주인은 50달러라고 말했다.
그녀는 그렇게 보기 드물고 예쁜 새가 그리 비싸지 않은 걸 보고 다행이라 생각하고 그걸 사기로 했다.
가게 주인이 그녀를 보고 말했다. "먼저 말씀드릴게 있는데, 이새는 매춘가에서 살던 새라서 가끔 좀 상스러운 말을 한답니다."
그녀는 그말을 듣고 생각해보았다. 그렇지만 그 새를 구입하기로 마음먹었다.
그녀는 주인에게 그래도 그 새를 사겠다고 말했다. 애완동물 가게 주인은 그 새를 그녀에게 팔았고 그녀는 그 새를 데리고 집으로 돌아왔다.
그녀는 새장을 거실에 매달고 무슨 말을 하는지 기다렸다.
앵무새는 거실을 둘러보고 그리곤 그녀를 보더니 말했다, "새 집에 새 마담이군."
그녀는 처음엔 그 말의 뜻을 알고 약간 충격을 받았다. 하지만 그렇게 나쁘지는 않다고 생각했다.
몇시간 뒤 그녀의 두 딸들이 학교에서 돌아왔다.
딸들이 그 새를 관찰했을 때, 그 새가 딸들을 보더니 말했다, "새 집에, 새 마담에, 새 창녀들이군"
딸들과 어머니는 처음에는 기분이 상했지만 새가 하는 짓을 보고 웃기 시작했다.
몇시간 뒤 그녀의 남편이 직장에서 돌아왔다.
앵무새가 남편을 보더니 말했다, "새 집, 새 마담, 새 창녀들에.....늘 보던 얼굴이 있네. 안녕! 레이씨."
