The sailor and the priest were playing golf. The sailor was not very good at it, and uttered a loud "Fuck, missed!" each time he missed.
The priest tolerated him for a few minutes and couldn't take it no more. "Do not swear thus, my friend, or God will punish you."
It didn't make a difference, the sailor continued unabated. One after another, the sailor played badly, and followed up with "Fuck, missed!!"
Again, the priest said, "Do not utter such profanities, or God will show you a sign."
It didn't help, and the next stroke missed was followed by a loud "Fuck, missed!!"
A bolt of lightning dropped out of the clouds and struck the priest dead.
A voice was heard in the clouds, "Fuck, missed!!!"
선원과 신부가 골프를 치고 있었다. 선원은 골프를 잘 치지 못하였다, 그리고 공이 빗나갈 때마다 "씨팔, 빗나갔어!"라고 크게 소리쳤다.
신부는 얼마 동안은 못 들은 척하였으나 더는 참을 수가 없었다. "그런 욕설은 하지 마세요, 이봐요, 그렇지 않으면 하느님이 당신을 벌하실 겁니다."
달라지는 건 없었다, 선원은 조금도 누그러지지 않고 계속했다. 잇따라서, 선원은 골프를 잘못 쳤고 "씨팔, 빗나갔어!"란 말이 계속 나왔다.
다시 신부가 말했다, "그런 불경스러운 말은 하지 말라니까요, 그렇지 않으면 하느님이 당신에게 신호를 보낼 겁니다."
소용없었다, 그리고 다음 스트로크도 빗나갔고 "씨팔, 빗나갔어!"라는 큰 소리가 뒤따랐다.
구름 속에서 번개가 떨어져 신부가 번개를 맞아 죽었다.
구름 속에서 목소리가 들렸다, "씨팔, 빗나갔어!"
