Seems there were a pack of wild dogs that roamed a nice neighborhood, leaving huge piles of shit for all the neighbors to clean out of their yards. everyone used shovels except this old guy at the end of the street.
He just walked out with a mason jar and an eye dropper and applied a small amount of liquid to the mounds and they would allways be gone by the afternoon, no matter how big.
One day one of the courious neighbors saw this wise old man comming out of the market and just had to ask, "what is that magic liquid that you use on those turds???"
"Bacon grease," replied the old man, "Just Bacon grease."
한 무리의 야생 개들이 깨끗한 동네를 돌아다니면서 많은 똥 무더기들을 남기고 있는 것 같았다, 모든 동네 사람들이 그들의 마당을 청소하면서, 도로 끝에 살고 있는 이 노인을 제외하고는 모두들 삽을 사용하였다.
그 노인은 아가리 넓은 유리병과 점안기를 가지고 나와서 똥 무더기 위에다 그 액체를 약간 발랐다, 그리고 나면 그날 오후까지는 똥들이 아무리 많아도 모두 없어지곤 하였다.
어느 날 호기심 많은 이웃 사람 중 한 명이 이 현명한 노인이 시장 밖으로 나오는 걸 보고 그냥 묻지 않을 수 없었다, "당신이 그 똥 위에 뿌리는 그 신기한 액체는 뭡니까?"
"베이컨 기름이죠," 하고 그 노인이 대답하였다, "그냥 베이컨 기름입니다."
