Six men who were feeling no pain were staggering down the street about one in the morning.
Laughing and singing loudly, they walked up to a two-story home. One of them managed to make it to the door and pounded on the doorbell insistently.
A light came on in a upstairs window. The spokesman for the group yelled up, "Is this where Mr. John Smith lives?"
"Yes, it is. What do you want?"
"Are you Mrs. Smith?"
"I am Mrs. Smith. What do you want?"
"Could you come down here and pick out Mr. Smith so the rest of us can go home?"
새벽 한 시쯤 만취한 6명의 남자가 비틀거리며 길을 걷고 있었다.
큰 소리로 웃고 노래하면서 그들은 2층집으로 걸어갔다. 그들 중 한 명이 그럭저럭 문에 도착하여 끈질기게 도어벨을 두드렸다.
위층 창문에 불이 켜졌다. 그들 중 대표자가 소리쳤다, "여기가 존 스미스 씨가 사는 집입니까?"
"예, 그래요. 뭣 때문에 그래요?"
"당신이 스미스 부인이십니까?"
"제가 스미스 부인입니다. 왜 그러는데요?"
"이리로 내려와서 스미스 씨를 데려갈 수 있나요? 그래야 나머지 우리들이 집에 갈 수 있거든요."
