Charlie's wife, Debbie, had been after him for several weeks to paint the seat on their toilet.
Finally, he got around to doing it while Debbie was out. After finishing, he left to take care of another matter before she returned.
She came in and undressed to take a shower. Before getting in the shower, she sat on the toilet.
As she tried to stand up, she realized that the not-quite-dry epoxy paint had glued her to the toilet seat.
About that time, Charlie got home and realized her predicament.
They both pushed and pulled without any success whatsoever.
Finally, in desperation, Charlie undid the toilet seat bolts.
Debbie wrapped a sheet around herself and Charlie drove her to the hospital emergency room.
The ER Doctor got her into a position where he could study how to free her (Try to get a mental picture of this.).
Debbie tried to lighten the embarrassment of it all by saying, "Well, Doctor, I'll bet you've never seen anything like this before."
The Doctor replied, "Actually, I've seen lots of them. I just never saw one mounted and framed."
찰리의 아내 데비는 찰리에게 그들의 변기 시트를 칠해달라고 수 주일 동안 졸랐다.

그때쯤, 찰리가 집으로 와서 그녀의 곤경을 알게 되었다.
그들 둘 다 밀고 당기고 하였으나 어쨌든 성공하지 못하였다.
드디어, 자포자기하여, 찰리가 변기 시트의 나사를 풀었다.
데비는 시트로 자기 몸을 감싸고, 찰리는 그녀를 차에 태우고 병원 응급실로 갔다.
응급실 의사는 그녀에게 그녀를 자유롭게 할 방법을 찾을 수 있는 자세를 취하게 하였다. (어떻게 된 것인지 마음속으로 그려보려고)
데비는 창피함을 들어보려고 애써 말했다, "음, 선생님, 선생님은 틀림없이 전에는 이와 같은 걸 본 적이 없었겠죠."
의사가 대답하였다, "사실은 이런 일을 많이 봤습니다. 액자에 끼워 넣은 건 한 번도 못 봤을 뿐입니다."
