The Baltimore Police Department, famous for it's superior K-9 unit, was somewhat taken back by a recent incident.
Returning home from work, a blonde haired woman, had been shocked to find her house ransacked and burglarized.
She telephoned the police at once and reported the crime. The police dispatcher broadcasted the call on the channels, and a K-9 unit patrolling nearby was the first on the scene.
As the K-9 officer approached the house with his dog on a leash, the woman ran out on the porch, clapped a hand to her head and moaned. "I come home from work to find all my possessions stolen, I call the police for help, and what do they do? They send a BLIND policeman."
볼티모어 경찰서는 우수한 경찰견으로 유명한데, 최근에 다소 놀라운 사건이 일어났다.
어떤 블론드 여인이 직장에서 집으로 돌아와 보니, 자기 집이 샅샅이 뒤져지고 도둑에게 털린 걸 발견하고 놀랐다.
그녀는 즉시 경찰서로 전화를 걸어 범죄를 신고하였다. 경찰서 상황실에서는 무선방송으로 경찰관들에게 알렸고, 근처를 순찰하던 경찰견 대동 경찰관이 그 현장에 먼저 도착하였다.
줄에 묶인 경찰견을 대동한 경찰관이 그 집에 다가가자, 그 여자는 현관으로 뛰어나와 손으로 자기 머리를 두드리며 한탄했다. "내가 직장에서 집으로 돌아와 내 재산이 도둑맞은 걸 발견하고, 경찰에 도와달라고 전화를 걸었던 건데, 경찰은 뭐 하고 있는 거야? 그들이 맹인 경찰관을 보냈어."
