A minister was planning a wedding at the close of the Sunday morning service.
After the benediction he had planned to call the couple down to be married for a brief ceremony before the congregation.
For the life of him, he couldn't think of the names of those who were to be married.
"Will those wanting to get married please come to the front?" he requested.
Immediately, nine single ladies, three widows, four widowers, and six single men stepped to the front.
어느 목사가 일요 아침 예배 마지막에 결혼식을 주례하기로 계획하고 있었다.
축도가 끝난 후 목사는 모여있는 교인들 앞에서 간단한 식을 올리기 위하여 결혼할 커플을 불러낼 계획이었다.
목사는 아무리 생각하여도 결혼할 사람들의 이름이 기억나지 않았다.
"결혼하고 싶은 분들은 앞으로 나오시겠습니까?" 하고 목사가 말했다.
즉시, 9명의 미혼 여성과, 3명의 과부, 4명의 홀아비 그리고 6명의 미혼 남자들이 앞으로 걸어 나왔다.
