A woman was driving her old beat up car on the Highway with her 7 year old son. She tried to keep up with traffic but they were flying by her.
After getting caught in a large group of cars flying down the road, she looked at her speedometer to see she was doing 15 miles over the speed limit.
Slowing down, she moved over to the side and got out of the clump that soon left her behind. She looked up and saw the flashing lights of a police car.
Pulling over she waited for the officer to come up to her car. As he did he said, "Ma'am do you know why I pulled you over?"
Her son piped up from the back seat, "I do... because you couldn't catch the other cars!"
어느 여자가 그녀의 7살짜리 아들과 함께 그녀의 낡은 고물차를 타고 하이웨이를 달리고 있었다. 그녀는 교통 흐름을 쫓아가려 애썼지만 다른 차들은 그녀 옆을 나르듯 질주하고 있었다.
그녀는 도로를 질주하고 있는 자동차들의 큰 그룹에 휘말려 가다가, 자기 차 속도계를 보니 제한속도를 15마일 초과하여 달리고 있었다.
그녀는 속도를 줄이면서 길옆으로 이동하여 자동차 그룹에서 밖으로 나왔고, 그룹은 곧 그녀를 뒤에 남겨둔 채 질주하였다. 그녀가 쳐다보니 경찰차의 번쩍이는 불빛이 보였다.
그녀는 차를 세우고 경찰차가 그녀의 차로 다가오기를 기다렸다. 경찰이 다가오면서 말했다, "부인, 제가 무엇 때문에 차를 세웠는지 알고 계십니까?"
그녀의 아들이 뒷좌석에서 말하기 시작했다, "저는 알아요... 경찰 아저씨가 다른 차들은 붙잡을 수 없으니까요!"
