When the husband came home from his job, he found his wife crying.
"Your mother insulted me, very much." she sobbed.
"My mother? How could she do that when she's on a vacation on the other side of the world?"
"I know. But this morning, a letter addressed to you arrived. I opened it, because I was curious."
"And?"
"At the end of the letter, it was written:
P.S. Dear Catherine, when you've read this letter, don't forget to give it to my son."
남편이 직장에서 집으로 돌아왔을 때, 그는 아내가 울고 있는 걸 발견했다.
"당신 어머니가 나를 너무 심하게 모욕했어." 하고 그녀가 흐느껴 울었다.
"내 어머니가? 어머니는 지구 반대쪽에서 휴가를 보내고 계신데 어떻게 그럴 수 있어?"
"알고 있어, 하지만 오늘 아침, 당신 앞으로 온 편지가 배달됐어. 내가 궁금하길래 그걸 열어봤지."
"그래서?"
"편지 끝에, 이렇게 적혀있었단 말이야 :
추신: 며느리 캐서린아, 네가 이 편지를 읽어보았다면, 잊지 말고 네 남편에게 이 편지를 전해주거라."
