아메리칸 조크 - 임시 교사와 학교 사물함

Walking through the hallways at the middle school where I work, I saw a new substitute teacher standing outside his classroom with his forehead against a locker. I heard him mutter, "How did you get yourself into this?" Knowing that he was assigned to a difficult class, I tried to offer moral support. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Can I help?" He lifted his head and replied, "I'll be fine as soon as I get this kid out of his locker." 내가 근무하는 중학교에서 복도를 걷고 있을 때 나는 새로 온 한 임시 교사가 자기 교실 바깥에서 사물함에 이마를 갖다 대고 서 있는 걸 보았다. 나는 그가 투덜거리는 소리를 들었다, "넌 어떻게 여기 들어갔나?" 나는 그가 힘든 반에 배정되었음을 알고, 정신적으로 지원해주기로 하였다. "괜찮아요?" 하고 내가 물었다. "내가 도와드릴까요?" 그가 머리를 들고 대답하였다, "이 꼬마를 자기 사물함에서 꺼내면 곧 괜찮을 겁니다."
